Membership Information
What are the benefits of being a member?
- Newsletters: Annual membership includes a subscription to our quarterly Westie Sounds Newsletter. Your subscription will be delivered online in a PDF format.
- Fun Events: Your membership dues enable us to sponsor annual club events such as Fun Daze, Westie Walks, Halloween Party, Annual Westie AKC Specialty Show, luncheons, and professional speakers and seminars which are scheduled throughout the year.
- Participation: Members are invited to participate and chair club activities, serve on committees and eventually become a board member.
- Voting Privileges: Membership with active status grants you voting privileges at general membership meetings.
- Brag a Bit: Membership invites you to share "brags" about your Westie(s) in the Westie Sounds Newsletter.
- Networking / Socialize / Education: you will have the opportunity to network with other Westie fanciers and breeders. You'll be able to access a vast amount of information on the breed and knowledge from breeders with over years of experience. Members are also included in our Club Directory which is issued yearly.
Membership Dues
Your dues enable us to pay for rental facilities, event insurance, equipment storage, supplies, web presence, and other club costs.
- Individual member: $40 first year; $20 annual yearly renewal January.
- Household membership: $50 first year and $30 annually thereafter.
HOW TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP
To apply for membership, download the Membership Application & Code of Ethics form. Type your information into the form. Email the completed form to the Membership Chair, Robin Ryan at rr@robinryan.com. Your membership application will require sponsorship by two club members.
Dues are payable upon membership approval.
